Open auditions 
Location: The Redding Arts Project, 1726 Market St, Downtown Redding
Cost: $15 audition fee 

Children 10-13 years old (Level II, III & IV Ballet equivalent)
Dancers 13 to adult, girls en pointe at least one year (Level IV & V Ballet equivalent), and boys currently training for at least one year.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the audition time to allow for parking and check-in. Dance attire of black leotard, pink tights, pink shoes, hair in a bun for females: black tights or leggings and white shirt or leotard for males.

More Information:

Dancers cast in the show must be enrolled in ballet training, either at The Redding Arts Project or another local studio. Please submit a proof of training form at the first rehearsal (form will be emailed with casting). Please do not audition if you are not able to commit to rehearsals. For kids it will be about 1-2hrs per week (youngest ~ 45 minutes). For Corps de Ballet it will be 2-4 hrs per week.

Missed rehearsals will result in a reduced part or being dropped from the cast. Missed rehearsals due to illness won't be counted against the dancer- please let your choreographer know at the time of the absence. Tech week rehearsals are mandatory and missing one (unless due to illness or injury) will result in being cut from the show, and an understudy will step in to the part.
